Tango & Cash

Tango & Cash meet in Paris in their high school cinema class in 2002. Back in the days, they already do films together. Ed Picard (Tango) is the director and JM Seneca (Cash) takes care of the post-production. Actually, a bit like now.

After attended ESRA, famous cinema school in Paris, Ed starts as a PA on commercials and music videos sets in Paris. He works then for Ali Mahdavi, photographer and art director of « Crazy Horse ». In 2010, Ed starts working for Thierry Mugler famous director and fashion designer. He assists him in the creation of the « Mugler Follies ». He will become Art director and writer on seasons 2 & 3 of this new cabaret. In 2014, Mugler brought Ed to Berlin for the creation of the biggest show in Europe : « The Wyld ». During this time, Ed never stopped to create and make videos and decided in 2015 to devote this whole time to his passion : making films.
JM Seneca worked almost ten years for Fix Studio, commercials post-production company based in Paris. Specialized in VFX and Flame, he works on big projects (Guerlain, L’Oréal, Tiffany’s, Mercedes, …). He often goes on shooting sets to supervise Visual Effects. Beside, he works with photographers and filmmakers, to improve his skills and creative abilities. In 2016, JM becomes freelance.
Tango & Cash never stopped to work together during this period and always kept the dream to start a duo one day. They decide associate their talent in 2017.
Tango & Cash have different profiles and professional backgrounds, that’s why they complete each other. JM knows the commercial business and got a sharp technical knowledge. Ed spent the last years in artistic creation and always looked for new challenges pushing their creativity.
Their latest project, the fashion film “Film Me” they shot in 6 different formats including film & VHS has been winning awards in several different festivals all over the worlds.
